Description

A system designed to meet and improve the occupational health and safety needs of a large manufacturer.

Goal

Increase occupational health and safety within the operations, including manufacturing, metal refining and hydro generating facilities. Be able to easily manage tracking and follow up on potential and actual health and safety incidents. Proactive preventative remediation.

Approach

Working with the plant wide Health and Safety Manager, and the Health and Safety coordinators each department.

Results

Used throughout the plant and power generating operations to monitor and rectify safety concerns. Substantial financial savings from negotiated reduced WCB rates and reduced accident rates.
